The Scott Archery Ascent release is easy to set up and works great.

I purchased my Scott Ascent last week after taking the shot IQ course. It’s taken my shooting to a new level. I’ve shot a Longhorn Micro without a click for a while but it became more important for me to find a dual moon design for control over click length and fire moon adjustability so I can better preload in a more consistent way.

Purchased mine recently after losing some form and my groupings are back if not better than they were. Only question would be is why my one has a brass section for where the micro drive screw sits? Looks like these are marketed as all stainless and the images show them as such. Not a major complaint but just seems odd.

Absolutely love this release. Fits like a glove and doesn’t get tacky like brass. Really adjustable with two moons! Perfect release

After much hesitation, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a hinge release. I settled on the Scott Ascent and I couldn’t be happier. It has quickly become my go to release. The adjustable click and fire moons allow me to set it up exactly how I want it to fire. I’ve had mine for about six months and I continue to shoot the best scores I’ve ever had with it. Even used it to shoot my deer this fall!
