I’ve tried countless hinge releases over the years—Trueball, Ultraview, Stan, and many more—but I could never get truly comfortable with any of them. That changed when I picked up the Longhorn Expert. Right away it felt different in the best way. The flat, wide surface gives a much more secure grip, making it easier to feel the release position without the sense that it might roll over. The adjustments are straightforward and intuitive, and overall I have no complaints. This release has been a real game changer for me.
This is the best release! Love the feel, speed and accuracy. The spring reset is amazing! Not impressed with the shipping department as it took 4 weeks to arrive.
Just got my Longhorn Expert after using the Scott Halo from back in the day and I'm impressed on how much Scott has innovated on what is already a great release. Looking forward to shooting great scores with this release.
This has been my favorite release that I have shot! I have tried other and used other not be able to get away from the Ascent (which is another great release) but the Longhorn Expert is my go to! I have tested others here lately but nothing compares to the adjustability and the feel! I love small releases for the consistent feel in my hands and the Longhorn Expert Small fits like a glove.
Love the flattened finger placement. Also the third finger curl. Wish cam attachment system was heavier, sounds tinney.
